Alli Owens - ARCA ReMax Series
Alli Owens
was born September 2, 1988 and grew up in
Daytona, Florida. She attended FinishLine Racing School in
May, 2004, and worked there after school assisting in any thing that had to do
with race cars. She graduated from HS in 3 years in order to further pursue her
racing career. She started her racing career at the age of 8 in a BMX bicycle
race winning the President's Cup. Alli went on to Quarter Midgets, then Dirt
Pure Stocks where, in her first season, she finished 6th in the championship
standings at Volusia Speedway Park. In 2004 Alli attended FinishLine Racing
School and competed in the Mini Stock division at New Smyrna Speedway finishing
3rd in the championship standings and captured the division's Rookie of the Year
award. In 2005 Alli took on the Late Model division at New Smyrna Speedway and
finished 2nd place in her first race and she ended the season 3rd in the
championship standings and was awarded with her 2nd Rookie of the Year award.
Alli went on to compete in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and now, in
2008, she is competing in the ARCA RE/MAX series driving the No. 12

fastest lap in the open test session held at the 1.5 mile speedway a few weeks
ago. She is heading into the race with increased confidence.

Exclusive FT Interview with ARCA’s Alli Owens
July 2008
What follows is the first of what I hope will be a long series of interviews
conducted with various females that are just below NASCAR’s radar. They are for
the most part underfunded, but dedicated to making it to the top rung of the
stock car ladder.
My roots being in the Mid-West, and specifically ARCA’s brand of racing, the
selection of Alli Owens as the first in the series was an easy one and affirmed
by her consistent level of performance during her rookie year at the ARCA level.
