Ryan Mathews - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series

Ryan Mathews was born July 1, 1978 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and he attended FinishLine Racing School in March, 2002.  Ryan's racing career started with go-karts at age 15 and from there he competed in different series with many race wins and championships including Mini-Sprint Rookie of the Year at Wilmot Speedway in 1995, Super Late Model Rookie of the Year at Slinger Speedway in 2001, the ASA National Series in 2004, the ARCA RE/MAX in 2006 and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2007.

Ryan Mathews Named Co-Driver of the 36

TruckTruckSeries.com (May 22, 2007) … Bill Davis Racing announced today they will continue their driver development program with rookie driver Ryan Mathews. Mathews will be behind the wheel of the No. 36 Toyota Tundra starting this weekend at the Mansfield (Ohio) Motorsports Speedway. (read more...)

MATHEWS: Brings ARCA and Late Model Experience at Nashville

TruckTruckSeries.com (August 7, 2007) … Ryan Mathews has run at the Nashville Superspeedway before, just not in a Craftsman Truck. Mathews ran in the ARCA RE/MAX Series last year and was running solidly in the fifth position until he had a tire blow out. He also ran Late Models for three years in a row at the Music City Motorpark at the Nashville Fairgrounds, and was leading the race in 2005 but ended up finishing fifth. Mathews has a lot of success in Nashville, so watch out for him to be contender this weekend. (read more...)
