Indianapolis - While most of the drivers took advantage of some extra practice
time Monday, one rookie made quite a buzz outside Gasoline Alley.
Rookie driver PJ Chesson sure knows how to draw a crowd. He chose a very unique

When PJ Chesson came into the IndyCar Series this spring, the World of Outlaws
fans knew the IRL folks would be in for a very entertaining season. Chesson did
not disappoint today. Speaking today in a post practice news conference, PJ
Chesson let it all hang out. The former WoO star took questions in the beginning
about the difference between an IndyCar and a WoO Sprint Car. Chesson said the

P.J. Chesson’s unofficial Indianapolis Motor Speedway track record isn’t likely
to be broken anytime soon. Indianapolis 500 rookie Chesson buzzed the historic
facility at about 345 mph (300 knots) in the back seat of an F-16D Fighting
Falcon from the 181st Fighter Wing “The Racers” of the Indiana Air National
Guard based at Hulman Field in Terre Haute, Ind., as part of the hour-plus
adventure with Maj. Rob “Hook” Myer at the controls (most of the time). (READ
