WIN at
All-Star Speedway
Tayla Orleans
began racing go-karts at the age of 7. Out of 120
races, Tayla received 92 top 5’s with 31 wins. With that kind of record, it was
inevitable that Tayla would win the Championship, and in 2004 she did just that.
In 2005, at age 12, Tayla had 14 race starts in the Allison Legacy Series. And
in 2006 Tayla showed that she is a force to contend with. On April 2, 2006 Tayla
won the feature at Waterford Speedbowl in Conn. She became the youngest driver
in the Speedbowl’s history to win a Stock-Car feature. 2006 also saw a second
win on May 27, 2006, at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY, and a third win at
Waterford Speedbowl. Despite her hectic schedule, Tayla received an award for
achieving Honor Roll Status throughout the 2006/2007 school year.

At 13, she's gaining on dream
By Alexandra Perloe, Globe Correspondent
CLAREMONT, N.H. -- Tayla Orleans is radiant when she returns from
an autograph-signing session. It wasn't just the little kids; it was the

But there's not much time to talk, because the evening's race is about to start.
Tayla is the youngest competitor -- and the only girl -- in the Allison Legacy
North Race Series, a string of competitions across the Northeast featuring
three-quarter-size stock cars that can reach speeds of more than 100 miles per
hour. (read

Tayla R. Orleans
Tayla Orleans established herself as a hot-shoe in the local karting ranks,
rarely finishing outside of the top five. Since stepping into a Legacy car in
2005, she has shown a lot of promise. In her first full season behind the wheel,
Tayla was the youngest feature winner at the Waterford Speedbowl en route to a
third place finish in the points. In 2007, her goal is the Series title. (read
